If you are interested in becoming a massage therapist, FLSM offers a unique opportunity for massage therapy training at our two New York campuses – an opportunity that holds the potential to help others and to change your life.
Our full-time and part-time massage therapy programs are based in two of the most beautiful regions of New York - the Finger Lakes region and lower Hudson Valley. For more than a decade, FLSM has offered 1,000-hour, New York state-approved holistic massage therapy training to talented students, preparing them to enter the healthcare field as highly qualified massage therapists with thorough working knowledge of the human body and the art of bodywork.
Graduates of FLSM’s seven-month, full-time program or 23-month, part-time program receive New York massage therapy certification and are eligible to sit for the New York licensing exam, the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork’s national exam, and exams offered by most other states who require therapists to be licensed.
Our teaching philosophy is to honor and encourage the individual in a supportive environment. We encourage our students to use this program as a tool for both professional development and personal growth. More than a vocational school, FLSM is a place of discovery and transformation.
