The classes are geared for students to gain a deeper understanding of aromatherapy and how essential oils can be utilized professionally. The program focuses on the study of essential oil chemistry and energetics. Students make essential oil products such as aromatic cream blends, room sprays, sinus inhalers, diffuser blends, massage oils, and bath salts. Essential oils are used preventatively to maintain health, as well as during acute and chronic stages of illness. They are a natural plant-based medicine designed to stimulate the body's immune system, support one's natural ability to maintain balance, and facilitate healing. INTRODUCTION TO MASSAGE THERAPY AS A CAREERInstructor: Rachel Hogancamp, LMT Join us for this one-day seminar exploring massage therapy as a rewarding career and introducing our nationally renowned education program. We'll discuss the client-centered approach and the role of presence in massage, both integral to FLSM's philosophy. You will leave knowing soothing, self-massage and self-care techniques as well as current career trends in one of the fastest growing healthcare industries. Participants will also receive a relaxing one-hour massage from currently enrolled massage therapy students. No previous experience necessary. INTEGRATED ENERGY THERAPY (IET) - BASIC LEVELInstructor: Hallie Sawyers, LMT, NCTMB This Basic Level training introduces the student to the practice of IET, providing: an attunement to the Basic IET energy ray, activating the 1st and 2nd pair of 12-Strand Spiritual DNA in the student's energy field, basic techniques for removing energy blocks at a cellular level, location and use of the IET energy integration power points, introduction to Energy Anatomy and the Cellular Memory Map, increase in ability to be an energy intuitive and 'read' energy, complete training in Basic IET treatment for self and others, IET Basic Practitioner Certificate of Completion, a detailed illustrated manual for future reference.
